About Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi
Muthuvel Karunanidhi (3 June 1924 - 7 August 2018) was a multifaceted and a rare personality in the political arena. He had started writing since the age of 14, and is well known today as a Tamil scholar, script writer, and poet. He had also served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 5 terms, spanning a period of almost two decades.
Kalaignar's confidence and will power were overwhelming, having never missed an opportunity to work on his goals and achieve them. He had been a fit person throughout his life; late night political meetings would never stop him from starting his next day early, reading newspapers and walking.
